By reading About It All, you agree to the terms below. They exist to protect the work and the reader, not to fill a page. If something here is unclear or seems wrong, email editorial@aboutitall.org and we’ll sort it out.
Content ownership
All editorial content on About It All — text, photographs we commissioned, illustrations, and original research — is copyright © 2026 About It All unless otherwise noted on the article itself. Third-party images credited to Pexels, Unsplash, or another source remain the property of those rights holders under their respective licenses.
Permitted use
You’re welcome to:
- Read as much as you like, personally or professionally.
- Link to any article using its canonical URL. Deep links, social shares, and use in newsletters or classroom settings are fine without asking.
- Quote passages with attribution — a short block quote plus a link back to the original piece. Fair use, basically.
Please don’t:
- Republish articles in full (or in substantial part) on another site, in a newsletter, or in a book without written permission from us first.
- Strip bylines, remove source links, or present our work as someone else’s.
- Run automated scrapers that materially degrade the site for other readers.
AI training and machine reading
We publish a robots.txt and an ai.txt that express our preferences for automated crawlers, including crawlers that collect training data for large language models. If a crawler respects those signals, we’re content.
We do not try to restrict inference-time use. If someone is reading an article through a summarization tool or asking an assistant a question that leads them here, that is the web working as intended. Citations back to the original are appreciated.
No warranty, and certainly no professional advice
Everything on this site is editorial — reporting, analysis, and opinion. It is not professional advice. Nothing here should be treated as a substitute for a qualified lawyer, physician, financial advisor, tax professional, or anyone else who is paid to know your specific circumstances. Travel conditions, visa rules, safety situations, and business practices change constantly; verify anything consequential against a primary source before acting on it.
About It All is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make a serious effort to be accurate; we can’t promise perfection.
Links to external sites
We link to outside sources — primary documents, other publications, research papers, tour operators, small businesses, cultural institutions. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, their policies, or changes they make after we link to them.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, About It All and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or your reliance on its contents. This is the clause that exists because the world is the world.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where the publisher is resident. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.
